Interactive

The Historic Districts of Loudoun County website

Web & Interactive

I have over ten years' experience with interactive media projects: touchscreen kiosks, websites, presentations, and videos. As with anything else in a project, the key to any interactive project is understanding exactly what is being told, and why. The hows and whens follow - what to use, and what to leave out.

My experience has ranged from work with the ground-breaking Micro Gallery team at the National Gallery of Art in 1995, to building the first website for the National Museum of African Art in 1998, to thirteen projects for the US Centennial of Flight Commission from 2001-2003. As vice-president/producer for Cognitive Applications, Inc., I worked with one of the longest running and most innovative technology firms in existence.

The following links will take you to a sample of projects I have led or co-produced:
Art, Books, and Creativity (CogApp project)
The Historic Districts of Loudoun County
The Wright Experience (CogApp project - links to education page with 14 in-depth education websites)
The Second Street School Interactive (CogApp project)
Blue Ridge Biplanes
